The C4‑16X is a range of compact, rare‑earth DC servomotors specifically designed for applications where low cost is important while maintaining ruggedness and performance.

Typical applications include door opening, medical equipment, wafer spinning, office machines, X‑Y tables and co‑ordinate measuring machines. The use of rare‑earth magnets ensures a compact motor practically immune from demagnetisation.

The special magnetic design features ensure an extremely low value of cogging torque. Windings are provided for operation at 12, 24, 28 and 75V D.C. The rotor incorporates a rigid fused commutator and runs in high‑quality ball bearings. The standard options include a range of planetary gearboxes and multiple feedback options. Two basic lengths are available with continuous output torque of 0.2Nm and 0.4Nm.
