FT Series Servo Motors
The FT Series were 3‑phase rare earth (SmCo) permanent‑magnet servomotors with a trapezoidal characteristic,
originally designed and manufactured by AEG Servo Systems Limited. The range included three frame sizes – FT2, FT4 and FT6 – covering stall torques from 1.3 Nm up to 45 Nm and speeds from 6000 rpm down to 3000 rpm.
All FT motors were known for their extremely low rotor inertia, enabling high acceleration and excellent dynamic performance.

Original AEG FT Series Motors in Stock
Although the AEG FT Series is long out of production, we maintain limited stock of
original, unused FT motors for customers supporting legacy machinery or requiring like‑for‑like
replacements. These units are genuine AEG products with the original mechanical and electrical specifications.
FT26‑1L‑0020‑00 (FT261L‑0020‑00)
Original AEG FT26 servo motor (FT2 frame size). Suitable for compact, high‑acceleration applications
requiring very low rotor inertia.
FT42‑1L‑0000‑00 (FT421L‑0000‑00)
Original AEG FT42 servo motor (FT4 frame size). A widely used model in medium‑torque industrial applications.
FT42‑1M‑4420‑00 (FT421M‑4420‑00)
Original AEG FT42 variant with enhanced torque capability. Suitable for demanding duty cycles and
applications requiring improved thermal performance.
FT46‑1L‑0020‑00 (FT461L‑0020‑00)
Original AEG FT46 servo motor (FT6 frame size), covering the upper end of the FT torque range.
Ideal for heavy‑duty, lower‑speed applications requiring maximum stiffness and robustness.
