Aura series absolute encoders employ a short wavelength LED for precise absolute position decoding. An advanced sensor and incremental scale track produce pure sine wave signals, enabling high resolution interpolation with run-speeds up to 83,721 rpm (with an 18 mm diameter scale) or 50m/s with a linear scale.
