PMX Stepper Motors

Kollmorgen’s PMX Series stepper motors are designed with ease–of–use, versatility and cost-effectiveness in mind. They provide high torque in a small package and are offered in a wide range of standard sizes, constructions, windings and options.

These high-performance, brushless, maintenance-free stepper motors provide very precise, extremely cost-effective motion control, and inherently move in small, very precise, 0.9°, or 1.8° increments (400 or 200 steps/revolution). This stepping action is easily controlled without the need for complicated, expensive feedback devices.

The PMX series adds smaller 08, 11, and 14 frame sizes to 17, 23 and 34 frame sizes traditionally offered by Kollmorgen. For reliability in the field and long service life, they are built with high-quality construction.
